Common Grounds - An Indivisible Group

MEET COMMON GROUNDS
We are a group of South Dakotans united in resisting policies we believe are harmful to our country and democracy. These include concerns about issues such as climate change, health care, especially women's health care, transparency in government, equal rights for all, among others
We believe that protecting our values, our neighbors, and ourselves will require a resistance built on the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.
We are committed to expressing our views and taking action in a peaceful and polite but determined manner to make our legislators listen.
We meet at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays at Caille Library on W. 49th St (near Sanford Wellness).
Date of our next meeting will be posted on the home page of this website.

Our Thoughts

It makes me so sad and angry!
"It makes me so sad and angry that the social safety nets that have taken so long to put in place are being destroyed in a matter of weeks."

I can’t believe...
"I can’t believe we have to fight these fights all over again! "

Why are there so many restrictions..
"Why are there so many restrictions on women’s choices? These are decisions that should be between a woman, her family, and her doctor. Not the government’s! "

I’m glad I can come here and talk!
"I’m glad I can come here and talk! My husband is tired of listening to me talk about this."
